Parents of Potential Members
We would like to congratulate you on your son's acceptance to UAB. We understand that you may have concerns
about your son joining either TKE or another fraternity. Please be assured that if he does decide to join
TKE, he will have available to him the best possible guidance. If you have any concerns that you would like
addressed, feel free to contact us. We would be happy to meet with you in person or have our advisors or parents
contact you if you would like their perspectives on TKE.
Each of us were in your son's position just a short time ago. Many of our parents also had concerns about us
joining a fraternity. It is a perfectly natural instinct for parents to be cautious and we understand this from
a first-hand experience with our own parents. We encourage you to ask us questions and learn what our Fraternity
is really all about. It is important to us that you are supportive of your son joining TKE and that you help
him make an informed decision.
